4 High-Protein Holiday Recipes to Try This Christmas

You can enjoy festive flavours and still crush your protein goals! Get ready for some holiday-inspired recipes that keep the cheer without skipping a beat on your nutrition. 

  1. Grinch’s Leftovers

A minty, chocolatey treat with a protein twist! Perfect for the Grinch who loves gains.

Ingredients:

  • 2 crushed Weetabix
  • 50ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 150g fat-free yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 squares Aero Mint chocolate
  • 10g dark chocolate (Lindt Dark Chocolate used)
  • 1 serving NPL Platinum Whey Vanilla Ice Cream

Method:

  1. Crush Weetbix and mix with milk. Press into the bottom of a container.
  2. Combine protein powder, peppermint extract, and yoghurt. Spread over the Weetbix layer.
  3. Melt and pour dark chocolate over the top.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Top with remaining chocolate before serving.

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Pink food colouring
  • 100g rice krispie cereal

Method:

  1. Melt marshmallows and butter in a pan.
  2. Add protein powder and rice krispies. Mix well.
  3. Spread mixture on a tray and flatten.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
